Fattouch salad

Ingredients

Salad

  1. 2 Romaine lettuce chopped
  2. 1 Bunch of parsley finely chopped
  3. 6 green onions chopped
  4. 4-6 Lebanese cucumbers cubed
  5. 2-3 large tomatoes cut in small cubes
  6. 1 bunch chopped fresh mint

Dressing:

  1. Salt and pepper to taste
  2. 1tbsp. sumac
  3. 1tbsp. Zaatar thyme
  4. 2 lemon juice
  5. 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  6. 2 pita bread toasted in oven and cut in small pieces

Preparation

  1. Place all chopped ingredients in a large bowl
  2. Mix all ingredients for dressing well.
  3. Add to vegetables and mix well, add toasted pita. Sprinkle with sumac and thyme.
  4. Serve immediately.
