Guinness Poutine

Ingredients
Ingredients (Sauce):
- ½ cup/120ml Guinness
- 1 cup/240ml Brown Gravy
- 2 tbsp/30ml Butter
- 2 tbsp/30ml Corn Starch
- ½ tbsp15ml Water
- Salt & pepper to taste
Ingredients:
- 8oz/250g per person Fries
- pinch Sea Salt
- 1/3 cup/80ml per person Guinness gravy
- 2oz package/60g Cheese curds
Preparation
Sauce:
- Bring Guinness and gravy to a simmer
- Mix corn starch with water and add to simmering sauce while stirring.
- Simmer 2 min, remove from stove
- Add butter to hot sauce and incorporate
- Season to taste
- Deep fry fries until crisp and golden brown.
- Drain and season with sea salt.
- Place in bowl, pour hot Guinness gravy over the fries and top with the cheddar curds
- Serve and enjoy
